  1. 01

    Cardboard, cut and fitted

    Faceplate, eye slits, cheek and jaw panels, all cut from cardboard and layered to get the shape. Then the real test: does it fit on his head? It does.

  2. 02

    Parked for the shield

    The shield build takes over the living room. The helmet waits on the floor behind it.

    Back on the bench

    Next to the half-painted shield. The cardboard panels are now covered with a smooth, lighter skin.
